moos: gooder?
I'm sure Gal Gadot's English is great, but perhaps it's a take on how English does not make any logical sense to foreigners?
Like, it must seem bizarre to go from good --> better --> best rather than good --> gooder --> goodest.
Made some last night. I eyeball it so amounts are approximate.
Cool 1 lb of elbows per the box
Heat 3 tbsp of butter in a large pot
When melted add enough flour to make what looks like a thick paste and allow to cook for a minute or two.
Add enough cold whole milk to make the consistency of gravy ( congratulations! You can make a bechamel!). Add in a tsp of onion powder and a tsp of dried mustard.
Shred a few oz of 6-month gruyere and a few more oz of cheddar and toss in corn starch
Add cheese to bechamel in three batches, allowing to fully melt between each batch
Add milk as necessary to keep the consistency the way you like it
When noodles are done drain thoroughly and add to cheese sauce. Stir to combine and nom nom.
Gal Gadot is a beautiful woman, the death of a million kittens, a fine actress, and, I'm sure, a wonderful human being, but shouldn't it be Ryan Reynolds selling us shiat in his name?
Pass! This Canuckian ate too much KD in college (although I still enjoy listening to Bare Naked Ladies)

He does

It's their version of playful branding. Also, each box serves 2.5 (which is a very stupid amount, but there you are), so it's closer to $2 per serving than $5.
Boil up some 35 cent ramen noodles, melt some Velveeta over it. To make it fancy style, use the ramen 'spice' packet.
You're welcome.
Isn't $20 for four the same price you'll pay for the deluxe organic stuff you'll find at Whole Foods?
Meh. They're trying to compete with Annie's. Calories per serving are the same, but their Cheddy Mac has more fat, sodium, and carbs, as well as slightly more sugar, than Annie's organic shells & white cheddar - it also has more protein and fiber though. It also reads like a vitamin supplement, as they've loaded the noodles with vitamins (described as "nutrients " extracted from a variety of sources.)
Googles noodles (wheat flour, chickpea protein, nutrients extracted from [broccoli*, spinach*, kale*, pumpkin*, sweet potato*, sunflower seed*, cranberry*, chlorella*, maitake mushroom* shiatake mushroom*]), cheddar cheese blend (cultured milk, whey, buttermilk, salt, disodium phosphate, color [paprika, turmeric, annatto], enzymes), butter (cream, salt, enzymes) salt, tapioca flour, dried maple syrup, lactic acid
*organic
It's a gimmick in a box, at twice the price. Eat a box of Annie's, take a vitamin, save yourself a couple of bucks.
Spirals. Spirals always taste better. Cut up hot dogs. The cheap ones too, but not so cheap they have veins in them. And healthy doses of dill, black pepper, and hot sauce. Came out to around a buck when I was an undergrad.
Now a whole box of instant stuffing? That's some serious bachelor yow right there.
Nothing like Mac and cheese from a war criminal.
I think Mrs. Gadot should lay off her own product if she wants to get back into that Wonder Woman costume.
*runs*

Waaah English is hard
I just added a bunch of homemade chorizo and a bit of salsa to some Velveeta cheese shells. It was awesome.
If you have sodium citrate and a stick blender, this modernist mac and cheese is ridiculously easy and good and adaptable. Put whatever cheese you like into it, vary the liquid (white wine works great), add some mix ins and you've got great max and cheese in very little time.
Or, simpler Mac and cheese:
Make noodles
Simmer heavy cream until reduced by half; then add in a bunch of melty cheese of your choice (cheddar, Gouda, Gruyère, etc), turn off the heat and stir until melty and smooth.
add noodles and whatever mix ins to cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
Devour.

I first read that as curacao and was all 'orange flavored green macaroni huh?'
I can't find the recipe for it, and I swear it was a Serious Eats recipe, but I did a bacon jalapeno 4 cheese mac once that was absolutely amazing.
Dice up bacon and sauté, then toss in some diced fresh jalapeno. Drain, reserve the bacon fat and use it as the base for your béchamel. Add all the cheese you could possibly stand. I'm trying to remember the cheese I used, but you want a mix of melty cheese. I think I used cheddar, Gruyere, a smoked Gouda, and...maybe Mozz or a second cheddar (it's been a few years).
Served it with salmon cakes and a fresh remoulade.

Don't forget to add bacon!

Townsends is such a great channel. Don't watch a ton of his stuff but the techniques are always interesting as he's using period cooking technology. That 'salamander' he used? WTF was that?
/It was a shame when his channel was getting trolled with political comments a few years ago. People I tell ya.

velveeta shells and cheese is $3.20 a box, so $5 a box for 'highfalutin' mac & cheese isn't like crazy high
if your making it at home, you'll probably spend more just on a good quality cheese
Stop fighting!
Can't we all just agree that she should be bathed and sent to my house?
Aside from her looks I don't see her appeal.
Plenty of hot women that are charming. She's tepid bath water.

Don't shop at Whole Foods, but I think the Trader Joe's is $2.99 and is quite good. Kind of on the border of whether it is enough for a whole dinner, but still a good serving size.

In his context, one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003NCWE92 Today, it's basically any self-contained broiler that can get sufficiently hot.

Why can't she bathe at your house?
Wonder Woman (Mac and Cheese): $19.84
When I have the leftover ingredients on hand, I like to class it up a bit with some Gruyere or similar cheese, and fried slices of weisswurst. Plus breadcrumbs, fresh-grated Parmesan, and pepper. Sometimes some green chile.
I'm a bit undercaffeinated so I don't remember at the moment exactly how I do it, but I make a concoction that involves fusilli, white wine chicken stock, (fake, just because that's generally what's available here) crab or lobster chunks, and a combination of monterey jack and white cheddar.
"MAC" is the acronym of "mac and cheese."

you magnificent bastard
Made this last night. If you're not using at least three different cheeses, you are not trying.

Seconded. This really does yield the best creamy and oily smooth cheese sauce if that's the type of Mac and cheese you're going for (which I prefer). It also allows you to use drier aged cheeses that normally wouldn't emulsify as well.

Well yeah. I like to use Kraft American cheese, Velveeta, and head cheese in mine.

OK, so I start out the same way, but then we diverge. To the bechamel, instead of cold milk, I add...
1 400g can of tomato soup
Sauteed onions and red capsicum (pepper)
A buttload of fried bacon
A shocking amount of Worcestershire sauce
Loads of grated tasty cheddar
After combining with the pasta, top with more cheddar and a good quantity of pecorino cheese, then bake in the oven until the cheese is browned.
I keep a case and some of Velveta shells and cheeze in the cupboard. I don't drink milk, so the powder cheeze is out, and I'm set for any reason I have to stay home. Between that, Spam, and my fat ass, I can hold out for over a month.

You wash the mac and cheese down with the vodka.
/well, I do

oily smooth? WTF spellcheck?
Silky. Silky smooth.
Boil noodles and drain add 4tbs butter and quarter cup of milk to powder and stir into noodles.
I've done fancy mac n cheese. The whole thing Multiple cheeses, sauce reduction with flour and butter, etc..
It's too much work for cheesy noodles. Taste great? Yes. But by the time you're done you could have done something better than cheesy noodles.
Hell I could probably just cook up some noodles and throw beer cheese on em and it would be good and fast.
Then again... I'm always attracted to the protein in a dish. 19g 4 portions for 20 bucks?
Gtfo I'll frigging fry up chorizo and throw that shiat in Velveeta and noodles. At 20 bucks? I'm making pork tenderloin and chopping it up and throwing that goodness into cheesy noodles.
Sounds like it is priced to support an already rich, foreign actress.
Thanks, but no thanks... for $5 I can source my own pasta and cheese.
Oh, and I don't make macNchez, it is schitt for you.
